Science Award for RGS Alumni Dr. Sebastian Rausch
This year’s Science Award in Economics from the Sparkasse Essen, was awarded to Dr. Sebastian Rausch on 15. October 2010. Dr. Rausch received the prize, 5000 Euros, for his outstanding dissertation on overlapping generations models (OLG), analysing the macroceconomic effects of the demographic change. Sebastian Rausch was a RGS doctoral student of the first cohort from 2004 to 2007. He is currently a research fellow at the MIT Joint Program on the Science and Policy of Global Change in Boston.
